What we'll ask
Photo ID, a card for the deposit, and a phone number that works while you're out. Twenty minutes of setup before you go — saddle height, brake reach, a quick ride round the yard. People are always in a hurry to skip this and always glad afterwards that we didn't.
If something goes wrong
Ring us. If you puncture and can't fix it, we'll come and get you within about ten miles, though it might take an hour if we're mid-class. There's no charge for that; there is a charge for a damaged wheel, which is why the deposit exists.
We don't hire e-bikes. Enough people ask that it's worth saying: we looked at it twice and the cost of servicing them properly didn't work for a nine-bike operation.
